State Contest

Students who finish in the top four at one of the five Regional Contests are invited to the State Contest which will take place at Central Connecticut State University on Saturday, May 4, 2024. Students are encouraged to improve their projects based on feedback received from judges at the Regional Contests. History Day is an ongoing program, which encourages students to continually expand their learning as they progress through the contest season.

Students may continue to work on their projects (which they bring to the Contest) and their annotated bibliography. However, any changes made to paperwork since uploading it to the registration system and the three copies brought to the contest need to be highlighted.  All students (including website and paper participants) must attend the contest. It is acceptable if a group member cannot attend the State Contest, except for the performance category.
